Example Meal

 

Apple Pie Oatmeal

Simmer oatmeal, honey, cinnamon until creamy. Top with pecans, extra honey. A comforting breakfast with a touch of sweetness and crunch.

Ingredients

  • Rolled Oat - 80g
  • Unsweetened Apple Sauce -  80g
  • Water 710 ml
  • One Apple
  • Ground Cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • Ground Cardamom - 1/2 tsp
  • Vanilla Extract - 2 tsp
  • Honey - 2 tbsp
  • Pecan Nuts - 100g

Preperation

1. Cut apple in to cubes.
2. Combine all ingredients (apart from pecans) in a pot and mix well.
3. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, covered, occasionally stirring for 10-15 minutes. Add additional cooking liquid if required.
4. Serve topped with pecans and additional honey if desired.
